Are You Running Iditarod???

Many have asked, but this picture should answer why we have taken the year off from racing. Not to be confused with taking the year off completely. The dogs have still been going regularly, just not doing as long a runs as we normally would be doing, and to behonest, they’ve been loving it. Every hook-up they’re still acting as frenzied as the were in Auguest when training began. It’s been a fun year for all of us, and we are looking forward to having another little musher in the family, due sometime around the end of April. All for now.

Well! I’m so glad you finally told! Vicki and I saw the book (open) “What to Expect When You Are Expecting” when we visited in August!!! I’ve been bursting with not asking and not telling.

    What great news!!!

On another, less dramatic, subject… I’m wondering how much the big bear portrait costs and what sizes you can make it… Not sure I have a place for one the size of that one in your house. I have been thinking about it since last August.

That is the coolest news I can think of! I just laughed out loud when I checked the page. Congratulations, and hi to Diesel! The house is on the verge of getting a lot more lively for those dwelling critters, and here’s hoping they become the best pals and babysitters they can be.

Kate, asking a musher about names is pretty funny! I’ve never figured out how they come up with so many creative and unique names for the dogs. Naming must be in their blood!

Getting excited here in SE Alaska.
